About
My name is Pa Kou Vang and I am a UX Designer with a background in Sociology and Financial Services.
As a UX designer, I bridge the realms of sociology, financial services, and technology to create designs that resonate with users. My journey began with a fascination for understanding human behavior, nurtured through my academic pursuit in Sociology. Teaching English in Japan further honed my ability to empathize and connect with diverse individuals, tailoring lessons to their unique interests and learning styles.
In financial services, I was a participant in testing and provided feedback in the development of a new package tracking system for the bank. Here, I leveraged my skill in usability testing to create efficient, user-centric solutions. While streamlining processes for management platforms, my approach remains rooted in empathy and a deep understanding of user needs.
My passion for UX design lies in its power to blend analytical thinking with creative problem-solving, enhancing the way people interact with technology. I have discerned pain points from research interviews, used insights to develop ideas, and built products that elevate the user experience. Through an iterative design process, I strive to create engaging and meaningful designs that solve real problems.
In my free time, I enjoy crafting, planning events, and checking out new cafes and restaurants in the Twin Cities area. I love being in spaces that inspire me and make me feel at ease, which I hope is translated into my work.
I'm open to various UX design opportunities, so please reach out if our goals and values align. Let's work together to bring your users' needs to life!
